Steel City Con. I almost forgot that this was coming up... and since I do not have the means to attend Comic Con, this was going to need to do for the purposes of my list. So, this was my first Con and I was not sure what to expect. As it was pretty last minute, I ended up attending on my own and I can tell you for sure it was a slightly overwhelming experience. I literally spent the first 15 minutes attempting to hold back giggles. However, I'm not sure if those were giggles of excitement or giggles of "OMG. WTF are you wearing that in public?" I was looking for Harry Potter stuff, which I am sad to say was in short supply. I ended up not buying anything, but I did get a kick out of being there. Due to my weird anxiety of being in crowded places, I ended up not staying for too long, but it was a pretty nifty experience. If you see this today (Saturday, Dec 3, 2011), you still have another day to attend!!!
